Crop water requirement and Operation plan

Objectives

On completion of training, the participants will be able

	to understand about the Crop Water Requirement for different crops at different stages,
	to develop skills in preparing an operation plan for an irrigation system, taking into consideration of all the operating variables related to water, land, crop and socioeconomic aspects
	to suggest various strategies for suitable modification of operation plan during its implementation under water scarcity, excess rainfall and flood conditions.
