About IMTI

Tamilnadu Irrigation Management Training Institute (IMTI), is under Water Resources Department,WRD PWD was established in the year 1984 and is functioning under the Water Resouces Department of P.W.D. The Institute conducts various need based training programmes for the benefit of officers serving in P.W.D.,Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering Departments. Farmers are also taken in to the training fold and they are given training on effective water use and also onfarm water Management.
